I created an invisible audio system using transducers, an amplifier and a soundboard.  This type of audio system can be easily integrated into furniture because of the compact form and doesn't need air displacement to have clear full range sound.

Technology - Thinner TVs means smaller speakers that suffer in quality. The easiest solution is a soundbar but they are ugly, take up space and sound is directional.

This virtual speaker uses haptic technology coupled with a specific soundboard material and amplifier which gives omni directional audio.  This means you can be standing anywhere in a radius of the audio system and get the same quality sound- no directional traditional speakers are used.

The audio system uses a combination of wired and wireless technologies. Wired if your TV doesn't have a Bluetooth transmitter with wireless from any Bluetooth or wifi device.
